CPatHair~
Thank you.  I am appalled by cruelty-mongers.

MoonShadow~
The tears are so evident - even though they fall on the inside~

RSWells~
Thank you.  I've heard that cry from those who are subjected to such inhumane cruelty.

Balladeer~
You've always encouraged me to reach in ... and so I do.
Love ya'

Paula~
The tormented are forced to show anger
to keep from drowning in the tears.
My heart goes out to them.

And the tormentors deserve to be made to return in the next life as the ones they've so hurt with their cruelty.
*Hugs* to you, lady~

Ah Marge ... so few words, and yet the message within is perfectly stated. If those who spoke in cruelty could wear the shoes of their tormented ... sweet justice would be done. Well done!

Best wishes and hugs,
/Kit

Marge-
You have to know I love this!
Touched me to the core, and tugged
   mercilessly at my heart.
There is no excuse for such cruelty!
So glad you shared this piece.

   Love ya,

The bells loudly rung,
Their chime almost stung
as harsh as the insults
hurdled from the crowd.
And I wondered where is the god
that heard talking of so reverently
In the cathedral straight below me,
Not in the crowds below
Calling "hang him from the gallows,
The demon bell ringer."
Their anger rose in discord tempo
With every ring they cried
"Kill him kill him"
It was me for whom the last bell tolled.

I too could think of so many applications for your words Marge, and sad images they were.  Well done.

Marge, this is so profoundly compassionate. Everyone needs love and acceptance. But too many either draw back the hand in hate or fear. Well Done Lady poet!

Don't judge a book by it's cover, don't judge a person by their looks....it's such an easy lesson, yet so many people never learn it!  Very frustrating    This was a great write with a poignant message.

SongBird~
The stir to pen this one was found in the pain I saw inflicted
by some awfully cruel individuals.
The complete insensitivity wasn't very pretty to witness.
And each of them have received a copy of it.
Thank you for the reply.

Mysteria~
Yes ... and can we just imagine just how sad
to be on the receiving end ?
Thanks for the read, my friend.

RWood~
Compassion was part of the motivation and anger completed it.
Thanks for understanding.

SmittenKitten~
To accept each individual as the whole of who we are
would be a blessing~
Thanks for bearing with me while I vented.
