"Cracks"

at dawn a crack appears in the wall
at noon it is large enough for a seed to fly into it
wind blown soil, over time,
fills it
the rest of us wait for the results
as the slit is pushed wider and w i d e r
by natural crowbars that won't relent
the embryo nubbin, no longer a seed
its product forcing its way
OUT
inspecting sunlight
weakening the wall

at dawn
another crack appears

Funny how love does that...first the seed and then full cracks in the coldest of armor...*S* Nicely worded SR! *S*
