The Guarantee

tonight I gathered all you tear drops
and turned them into pearls
then passed them to an angel on stop
promising to take them to another world

arriving she became busy with another task
unnoticed they fell to the floor and began to roll
later remembering the promise she was asked
seeing heaven’s floor, the tear drops touched her soul

thinking no one deserves this many tears
I can make something beautiful out of pain
a reminder you are not alone, and to calm your fears
she lit every pearl and on the floor of heaven they remain

now every time you look up at night
at the beautiful stars you see
it is a tear drop been given light
the promise your never alone in pain, the guarantee

The Guarantee, what a beautiful title Helen,
and a wonderful poem, you are so talented.
You can write about things alot of us never realize. Keep the thoughts and words coming.
