History

My ex called me again
saying she wants to be my friend.
What the heck's wrong with her?
Get on with your life woman.
I'm only human.
That's all I need is a new
pocketful of misery.
how much longer will it be
til you can say you're thru with me?
Seems like forever in my mind
since you and I have been history.

Thank you Lady In White and maueve...this has been over for years...she still calls and leaves messages...she never wanted to be my friend when we were close now when we are apart she talks about a friendship...I don't need it...I'm not ready...maybe two or three more years I will feel differently...James

ah... hard to understand the why some times..and yes if and when you are ready...but until then... hey...life is too short..
