Don't Blame The Sea

The sea is a kaleidoscope of colors,
Painted in bright and delicate hues,
Light green in the shallows,
In the deep, the purest of blues.

It can be so calm without a ripple,
Or rage with great towering waves,
She is one of the great wonders of nature,
And in so many moods, she behaves.

But in truth she's naturally gentle,
Serene, peaceful and very frail.
You see, it's the wind that drives her,
With a gentle murmur, gust, or gale.

When the strong winds calms down,
Lessening their wicked force,
The waves weaken and flatten,
It is always a matter of course.

If the wind dies down completely,
Blowing only a gentle puff,
The Sea responds immediately,
And ceases to be so rough.

The sea can be so dangerous,
To those unwary fools,
Who seem to take her for granted,
And don't play by her rules.

So you can see she is blameless,
And we treat her so unfair,
All of the problems with the sea,
Are from the breezes in the air.

Sharon...you've captured my favorite scenery in this...the water...the currents being tossled in the winds...embraced in nature in the tranquility and serenity of dusk and the isolation of peaceful reflections....sighs...
you see what this topic does to me???
~*~winks~*~......So very beautiful!
I shall see you soon, my friend...counting down the minutes now, with a radiant smile upon my face...and upon my heart...
Love you muches, dawn

Mysteria, you've gone into the heart of the ocean and uttered its murmurs... The sea (as you so very well painted) is as calm or as fierce as its elements. You have a way of going into the soul of whatever you write about. I stand and applaud with much admiration a work of natural art. Love and peace Maggie

Indeed....
Don't blame the sea.....
It's a mystery forever grumbling in me.....

----------------

Wonderful.....
As a sea lover.....I find this so wonderfully expressed...I guess you love the sea too......

And the music is just so softly trailing....
I simply loved it all.........and loved you for writing it.....

Thank you

Charisma ~ thank you.

MEM ~ I live within walking distance to the Pacific Ocean, and see all sides of her - thank you from one ocean lover to another.
