In Thought Of Friends

Tying up these poems
Some with loose ends
Opening up my heart
Revealing to friends

With a candle of love
Flame burning bright
Displaying my words
The needing to write

The poem unfinished
With gaps in between
Blank begging colour
To capture the scene

Maybe adding spice
Rosemary and thyme
All the tasty morsals
Threads to my rhyme

When verses awaken
Smiles light my face
With heart delighted
Pieces fall into place

Sitting here with pen
In thoughts of friends
Heart delicate detail
Threading loose ends

Like a well-taken photograph, exposure to the Light of others is a very powerful experience, both for the "photographer" and for the audience. Enjoyed your thoughts.
