A time comes when we lose our core, after that we don’t care anymore. Everything is jaded, life seems very faded. In desperation, we grab at golden rings, only to find brass or gilt painted things. Finally we cry, this just won’t do in my soul, I’m not being true. I lay my head on my arms to cry, and that is when I heard a soft sigh. “You blame yourself for being alive, not even caring if you survive. I don’t ask you to give up love for me, only to fly, to ever be free. Love is infinite as the stars above, plenty of room for finding new love. Take me as your sun, but share the rest, time to leave that troubled nest. What we have, will ever be, all the way through eternity. But don’t give up life, for you are there, you know it is only for you that I care. Fly, my butterfly, spread your wings, for when you do, you make my heart sing.” |

What we have will ever be All the way through Eternity But don't give up life, for you are there You know it's for only you I care Fly my butterfly, spread your wings For when you do, you make me sing ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ So very tender and Beautiful! Unconditionial Love is spread through out this poem... The kind that wants the best for the other..... |
