In Being Superseded Am I now being superseded Bookmarked for further use As all the pages turn yellow What is your feeble excuse Who was my replacement Assisting your ego to grow Do I now take a back seat At least please let me know Who wears your heart now The heart deceitfully based Have they any knowledge Knowing you’re two faced You had promised to write Words was all that I need Off you went growing ego For someone else to feed In feeling no longer worthy If I am being pushed aside Have fun in all your flirting Feeling happy in every ride For in your written context Your heart went elsewhere That I’ve been superseded My heart , it became aware Hope ©2001 |
