Transcend the lines of everyday Beyond our lines, these words we say For not all lives inside the page Hidden pains, quiet rage Open up to all around Be not afraid of life profound I’ve seen in eyes that don’t look back Stare forward not to go off track Afraid of what you may see? Too fast to read what’s inside me. For I am not all I appear Yet few can break into what’s clear Beyond that front I hold so true Is it the way I should see you? Just give to me what you’d expect You’ll find those things you can’t detect Beyond the lines that we first say Just look beyond and you just may See me. |
