Coooool!!! I think I know where this barbed wire fence post is, although the little pine trees in the background are no longer there. Good poem though Helen. Your writing gets better to me every day. Keep up the good work. |

Beautiful metaphore for the barriers that keep us from reaching out for the object of our desires. Sometimes the scrapes and scratches are worth the effort to taste a small part of paradise. Mundane life is very much like that.... barriers vs dreams. Nice provoking thoughts. Good Job. |

You know barbed wire is not so bad, sure you may get scraped scaling the barrier but wounds heal. NOthing should stop the pursuit of your desires, if your intentions are pure. That is my musing done for the night. Really enjoyed the poem. shadows flicker sweet end tame |
