What shadow is this That lies so quietly in wait To devour my thoughts, my heart? I speak not too loudly And I will not say this name For it gives life to that Which now lurks Now skulks Do you not see it? Surely I am not mad From days of waiting From nights of wandering You say it is in me? Then I command it be gone!! But look!! What shadow is this That still surrounds the place I keep those memories Of you…. How do I not dread The darkness There? |

what shadow is this, indeed...Jung said it was just the flip side of ourselves...hmmm...but I'll save that for a discussion forum. Nice ponder here on the darker voyages of thought. |
