Flint sharp hills And dusty trees Protect the river He was 76 spent 40 years In Bolivia Spreading the word He believed And lived There were tales Of monkey and margay Kept as pets Stories punctuated With his faith And agile hands 76 years Bone Cancer And beliefs tested It appeared to me He was passing His faith Like the flint sharp hills And dusty trees Protecting the River that ran through His heart |

So much life in the River...no wonder the old man kept it close to his heart... well done Sir! |

A man like this deserves peace--may the river carry him there. Beautiful and touching. |

76 years Bone Cancer And beliefs tested This is all that the others have said and powerfully so! I like the two-edged sword of his "passing his belief" quite a piece, as usual! |

Great submission of a man on a mission. I assume it was for souls he was fishin' "Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to decieve" |

well done Sir. . . we should all meet this way. . . ------------------------------------------------------- To the world, you may only be one person. But to one person, you may be the world. |

Cpat, so many have lived long years and have nothing to show for them. This man has done well and left his mark on many( my guess) I like the sound of the river still flowing as his life is leaving. Thank you for sharing him with us. ME |

This man has shook hands with life I'm certain. To know what he knows. But then we wouldn't have earned it as he did. I hope his passing is a peaceful one. Very poignant C. Thank you. Sincerely, Regina |
