There You Are

Life’s raging erratic nature consumes me,
Stress pounding down without relief
My mind screaming for a way an escape
As a wandering hand reaches out…searching..
Hoping for a brief moment of peace

And then…… there you are.

I hear your soft whisper filled with love
And the nightmare vanishes into misty memories
As my soul breaks from it’s heavy burden
Free to fly on this current of never ending love
That you so openly and graciously offer.
