As I look into your eyes -- Two gems of sapphire blue, I see not just their beauty, But your soul which shines right through... I feel I've known you always, Although our friendship's new... The way that life flows through your smile And the different things you do... It's not just your appearance That makes me think of you... Although your beauty is enough To keep my eyes like glue... Of so much more importance Is your attitude -- The sweetest disposition -- The furthest thing from rude... I don't flatter -- That's not my way... You can trust me And all I've got to say... I hope we don't lose contact When this day is done -- You are a wonderful person -- So lively and so fun... My question to you then, One posed in honesty: What would you say if I asked you: "Will you go out with me?" Regina: The date, unfortunately, never happened, but the event was memorable since it took place on the film set of "Wayne's World", the movie... Elise: Thank you very much... I guess not every lady is as sensitive to a poet's heart as the ladies in this forum... Kay: ...would have been nice, perhaps, but we'll never know... Connie: I had hoped so too...
