Descending night softly wrapping with sweet embrace, solitude’s moment bring forth the haunting face. A face which comes in those rare times, setting the soul with peaceful rhyme. Tis not the skin covering the planes, putting all others in moroseful shame. Nor the caress of silken hair, even the eyes showing deep care. A smile which lifts full ripe lips, heady wine upon the soul sips. Haunting the mind till more reveals, shimmering from mists, my heart it steals. Soft fingertips caress with the wind, letting me know, you have come once again. When I know I have you there, only then will I take the dare. Letting the breeze carry to ancient fields, walking the path with what it reveals. My body may be, my mind is not, of the actuality which is times lot. Across the portal you pull what’s me lost in the mists of sweet eternity All of this and so much more as the descending night opens loving door. |

Oh, each time you transport me to that better place, your works are so special This stanza especially moved me "My body may be, my mind is not, of the actuality which is times lot. Across the portal you pull what’s me lost in the mists of sweet eternity All of this and so much more as the descending night opens loving door." Sandra |
