Red roses Gripped too tight in blind anger From each thorn A stream formed, Flowing down a silk skinned arm, He did bring Offering, Hoping the gift would sooth her; Give a smile, After while, She’d surely fall for his charm, Anger grows, Blooms lash with intent to harm. Gloom |

I might even say I see the red rose's blush go up to the cheeks of her face, the anger is so explicit... well done, Prof. Gloom... |

Roses are classic aren't they? Personally, I'm holding out for daisies as roses have kind of lost their meaning for me but I enjoyed this. " I walked beside the evening sea And dreamed a dream that could not be" George William Curtis" |

Thank you, Lady I am pleased you like, It is hard to hide emotions at times. Thank you, Kay, Roses are classics, as you probably well know, But still it’s the classics that give the most Symbolism. Thank you, Cerenity, Roses are an good example of the duality of things, Beauty and pain. I appreciate you taking the time to read and respond. Gloom |

I loved the use of the roses to show the anger and the pain in this one. The emotions were teeth clenching actually. I wondered what he had done actually, and you know me now I want to write a poem about what he did - oh dear! This was great my friend. To see real beauty ~ being blindfolded helps! ~* Mysteria *~ |
