Rest my Brother

I look back in remembrance of you
I try to see the joyous times
But can't seem to get past
The memories of hurt and pain
We loved you but you did not see
We tried to help but you didn't want it
We prayed for you, but the lord took you instead....
We miss you
There is so much that could've been said
So much left undone.....

i agree with paladin's comment a lot. i do hope that time diminishes pain for you and that you will only fondly remember the joyous times you spent with your brother when you look back

Thank you...I can say one great time that he and I had was when I got married...he was the only sibling in my wedding, the other two couldn't make it...I always have that to hold on to...
