Time Whispered Answers

I sat one day
and listened to
the passing time
as it whispered
from stone to tree
the secrets of all
that man searched for...

answered by the sky
and the sound of passing sun
it told tales wrapped
in simplistic tailings
of comets which
confused the earth
with love...
and man...
with himself.
