The lines have been drawn , there's no turning back the challenge waits before me now . But one thing remains , what type of attack , I've where and when , but seek the how . We've battled before in so many ways you seem to know my ev'ry move , down to the last , is there naught I can say of which you will not dis -approve ? You silently stare in blank dis-belief that I would even try again . I sit in my chair and strive for relief that comes from dueling page with pen . And why do we fight , cannot we be friends ? I'd honor you as few before . You've no need of me , for all I have penned it is your nature to ignore . And so we must fight , my dark to your light the sparks shall fly between we two , as long as I've words , and the will to write I vow to leave some mark on you . |

Hi Dr. Moose 1! I hope I'm not too assuming when I offer my sympathy...I'm in that same place right now. I like your poem. ShannonM |

I know this ache and frustration - and you've penned them well. |

Sy , Thanks . Sometimes the words come so easy , then there's the rest of the time . Arrrrgh ! Doc Shannon M. Thank you . Nope , not too assuming . We all have those moments . Doc illusion . Thank you . The words are there , you write them down , and they very seldom say what you think they should . It could always be a little better than what you have written . Frustrating indeed . Doc Nan , Thanks , translating thoughts into words unfortunately is not an exact science . I always seem to lose something during the process . Knowing that I am not alone in this helps . Doc |
