Obsessions Confession

I have
a confession
a thought
has my obsession
it is full
of hate and rage
wish I could
turn this page

need to turn
this thing about
it has me twisted
inside out
it’s sharp teeth
grind and bite
upon my heart
both day and night

I don’t know if I
can ever forgive
every day over
and over to relive
is it all just
too much to take
this wound
now my spirit breaks
