Love Dear Love, The kind they write about Is somewhere balanced above Just to hang so much ~ off my fingertips ~ that I tip toe in hope to catch a star For it seems to me that stars ~ Are the ceiling to my rapture ~ I jump and land Heavy footed Heavy hearted To appraise what slipped through here Through my hand ~ To sprinkle upon the heads Of lovers star crossed anew ~ The dust of love Shaken from the eldest root every drop was meant to hold the souls of two but it's I that reaches high as others keep their vision straight I, who strive for golden dust the root of love would grow in me ~ When I find her Her roots will be the brightest supernovas And her blossoms Will busy The honey bees Of Heaven ~ Love Dear Love, You are not a ceiling You are not a measure I know you grow Forever more For I will nurture your existence ~ As much as one soul could do ~ Love, the kind I write about When I began I only cried Now I believe in you (when I find her will she know me too?) ~ Sincerely, One in Love. Walt~ 'The dust of love Shaken from the eldest root every drop was meant to hold the souls of two but it’s I that reaches high as others keep their vision straight I, who strive for golden dust the root of love would grow in me When I find her Her roots will be the brightest supernovas And her blossoms Will busy The honey bees Of Heaven' This is just really nice~ ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |

I enjoyed this! It was so sincere and honest. " I walked beside the evening sea And dreamed a dream that could not be" George William Curtis" |

Is that you on Batman at Six flags? I love that ride! But I'd have to say my all time favorite is the Titan followed very closely by the Texas Giant. By the way, I also live in the metroplex. Magnificent poem. The best novel I ever read about love whose roots are "the brightest supernovas" and whose blossoms "will busy the honey bees of Heaven" is Corelli's Mandolin by Louis de Bernieres. It's about all kinds of love, and is placed on the Greek island of Cephallonia during World War II. It takes sometime to get into but is wonderful. Thanks for sharing your poem. :~) Samia |
