Prelude The doors fly open And before me lies A brightly lit room So bright with crystalline chandelliers Winking at me from above. The orchestra starts A prelude to begin The night of magic. A crowd gathers Onto the ballroom floor Each with a partner Hand in hand Swaying to the tune. It is a masquerade A mystery ball Full of mysterious suitors For each lady in the room. With masks donned Brightly decorated Intricately designed For one. And at the night's end The suitors may Or may not show themselves Or perhaps vanish With a kiss. But for now The night is young And they dance to the tune Of the prelude. -Leah Va pensiero sull' ali dorate... [This message has been edited by chasing rain (edited 08-01-2001).] |

chasing rain - the following is precious for the two partners... The night of magic. A crowd gathers Onto the ballroom floor Each with a partner Hand in hand Swaying to the tune. You have captured the feelings, of dancing to the prelude... BC |
