I open my heart's curtain -- Inspired by your Light... Which helps make me feel certain: I have no need for fright... No reason to feel worry Or to be insecure: You focus what was blurry, As my heart you procure... Such overwhelming gratitude You've helped me to attain By maintaining an attitude That all is not in vain... And through the door I opened, For you, into my soul You entered giving hope and Assumed a sacred role: Inspiring me to be my best In every way I can I thank you for sharing my quest To be a better man... It's quite the feeling to let one's self accelerate in self-improvement as a direct result from having been inspired by another. Mark, I do think Love will generally inspire us to be better in many ways. (I guess it doesn't do that to everyone, or we wouldn't have so many sad poems) I like these thoughts, and the rhythm. Sandra |
