Is this how it ends
The story of we
A simple goodbye
And now there’s just me

Is this the end of the dance
No thank you for the fun
And now I step away
To become only one

Is this how it’s over
A lifetime with you
Alone on the floor
Just a memory of two

Is this the end of the dream
No happily ever after
In the story of you
I was only a chapter?

Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind...
