You never said you loved me The words never formed in your voice But each night you held me tightly I knew I was your choice You never said you loved me But you touched me tender everywhere And the times that I felt most happy Were those times you and I share You never said you loved me However the gifts you brought were unique And the message of how well you knew me Were louder than words you could speak You never said that you loved me But you kissed me with your eyes closed You said you wanted me forever I knew then it was me you had chose You never said you loved me But you cheated on her to be with me So why is it now you are here Saying you never loved me? Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |

Woah. Those last two lines are poignant and powerful. They can even be taken in two ways, though my suspicion is that it slants in the direction whose answer you'd rather not know... Powerful details. -MVS "When you tell the Truth, you never have to remember what you just said." |

I'm back to getting my subject matter from Lifetime movies for women...it makes such intense and fun writing! Let my words fall first upon deaf ears before a closed mind... |
