I wrote this one last year, but my cat is at it again tonight with the same pleas. So I shall leave for tonight, until it be morrow.

Smitten-Kitten, she was off on another bent when I got off, went to bed and I think she came in for awhile, but I guess I'd stayed on past her patience.

JLR, I have 4 cats, but they don't all give me this particular kind of treatment. She has little to do with me until she's absolutely ready and if I want her affection, I'd better give it to her on cue. She was my mother's cat and only tolerated me until about 3 weeks after Mom died, then someone, and I was there, someone had to take Mom's place in her life.

I have only two, but I understand completely. And it's true, only on their time, not yours. And when they have had enough...see ya later.
