15 minutes of fame -

standing in the limelight . . .

basking in new found glory . . .

posing on the red carpet . . .

fan mail pouring in . . .

The star of the moment.

15 minutes of fame,
It's all a game,
and you'll never be the same.

15 minutes down the road -

a few B movies . . .

commercials here and there . . .

never ending grave press reviews . . .

Face it, no one wants to talk to you.

What once was,
has come and gone,
in this fickle game of fame,
you've been left standing in the rain . . .

i wish you could have explored more concepts of fame with this one. i really think that this has more potential then just pointing out the very obvious. you wrote it well though, and i commend your rhythm...well done
