It's been almost a year already,
time flies by so fast sometimes,
and when you don't expect it anymore,
you're reminded of stuff that's happened.

After August comes September,
and I know I'm going to need you,
but I know I don't have the courage to ask you,
"will you go to the cemetary with me?".

I don't want to go alone,
it'll just be to hard for me,
to visit her grave all alone,
on the day she died.

After August comes September,
and I know I can't go alone,
I need someone to hold me close,
and tell me it's okay.

I'm going to need you by my side,
but I don't think that's going to happen,
because I'll never have the courage to ask you
"will you go to the cemetary with me?"

After August comes September,
and I can't do this all alone.
I need you there with me,
even if you don't care anymore.

I'm going to say goodbye this time,
and I'm going to say I'm sorry.
I'm going to let go a little this time,
and I know I'm going to need you.

After August comes September,
so will you go to the cemetary with me?
I can't do this all by myself, all alone,
I'm going to need you with me.

Someone once taught me that it doesn't matter what other people think of you as long as you like yourself. That's what I live by.

I couldn't fully relate to the "go to the cemetary with me" idea, but I felt that it is a very good poem showing the need for a friend to help support you and be there for you. I thought that was really cool.

Wow, Allysa. This is some heavy stuff... *hug* I hope you don't have to do it alone. That would be very hard. I'm sorry you would have to go through this at all. Just know that there are many people at Passions for you to talk to

I LOVE the lines "After August comes september and I'm going to need you". It just sounds go professional yet it's heart wrenching at the same time.

September isn't a good month anymore but when you base your happiness upon the stability of the world, there are problems in yourself.

I like this piece quite a bit, Allysa. To the library it goes.
