September 11, 2001
It's a day to go down in history,
A Terrost Attack on the U. S.
Many have died a lot of people lost
Families and friends split apart
I woke up, went to school like every other day
It was to be a good day, I had a game to play
Went to school started on my homework,
like I always do.
Then all of a sudden I heard the T.V switch on, in the counselor's office.
I went in and looked,
It was just the news
I sat back down until I heard a whole bunch of people screaming, on the T.V
I walked back in, and saw a teacher crying
I sat down to figure it out.
Then right before my eyes a plane crashed into a building
At first I thought it was an accident,
but I kept watching
all of a sudden it was like a replay, it happened again
I listened then found out it was no accent.
I felt bad but I was more confused
All that day we watched the news,
I hated to think about how afoul it was
I told my teacher I wished I was 18,
She asked why
So I told her because then I could fly or even drive and help them, or even just help and give some blood.
She started to cry and gave me a hug
I walked into class.
I saw one more thing I didn't need to.
The news was on and people were parading around and cheering
I guess they claimed to have put our lives in misery
but it was just not right!!!
I went off,
How could anyone do that?
But will we ever know?
I don't think so.

A touching piece Amanda. They were parading because they don't like America. It's fairly obvious but by no means right.

All these pieces are making me really cold and sad. You keep strong. Things can't stay bad forever.

Ya, the celebrating in the streets was an image I could go a lifetime without ever seeing again...the worst thing about it was that there were 4 and 5 year old lil kids out there doing it...So young and already being taught to hate Americans and be HAPPY when things like this happen to us...Thats horrible.
Thanks for the read, well done.
