Self esteem receding To the depths it was before Cannot stop the bleeding Watch it pool onto the floor Caught myself red handed Staring off into the black My Surfaces are sanded But inside I bend and crack Senses dull and falling Sitting in a numbing pain In the distance something’s calling But it calls to me in vain My spirit’s disconnected Segregated by self bounds In the end it was expected When I’m lost I feel I’m found |

I loved this poem.. the last line really had an impact on me. That made the whole poem... I especially enjoyed the first stanza.. had an eerie flow to it. Like Dopes and Jesa said, the flow was right on. The poem rocked! Nice job! --Marie You think yourself a failure, but perhaps the biggest loss is winning. |
