Standing In Silence...

Moonlight shining down,
as you lye next to me.
Sleeping under the stars,
I feel so very free.

Nothing else matters,
when I look at you.
We've started something great,
and something totally new.

You saved me from myself,
you helped me survive.
My depression almost drowned me,
but you helped me stay alive.

I know this is all real,
and this can't be wrong.
When I look in your eyes I know,
beside you is where i belong.

Perhaps a little heavy on the cliches but your emotions came through well in this piece,
