I heard once,
that still waters run deep,
I wonder if thats you,
I wonder if you know thats me,
but something is telling me
that beneath your calm exterior,
are thousands of currents endlessly pushing and pulling,
I bet if I dive in they will pull me under,
I think that you are too many fathoms deep for my mind to comprehend,
a little too vast for comfort,
but I will take the plunge anyway and find out,
let those powerful currents envelop me and take me down to the depths of you,
and see if I might cause a few ripples in your still waters

Well now...I'm liking this one. Perhaps it is because I'm particular to ripples...

in a few weeks, when this has received a multitude of replies, I hope it shows up in the Poetry Workshop or in Open. I think you have a gift for poetry, and certainly, your imagination won't let you down, Anya...
