lie upon a lacy cloud floated off to the fantasy you are running on air laughing as i come closer i reach out and take your hand you eyes dance in the slowing moon smiling i climb upon the sun and stand on the tip by your side if you leave i shall fall you are my support now and then i laugh as we jump off to a shooting star of light we go across the sky in a beam as a silvery trace follows across a burst of light blows through the dark hidden into every corner they have shone my eyes flicker and the light fades your face desolves into black i lie motionless in blank time with only a vision of your face To the world you maybe a person, but to a person you maybe the world [This message has been edited by Riley (08-23-2002 06:46 PM).] |

Hello, Riley! I think this is a good piece. The image painted itself in my head very vividly throughout the read. I really enjoy that in a poem! Good work. ~Sky "Whatever life brings, I've been through everything, but now I'm on my knees again" -Creed |
