All I think about is you
I try my hardest not to
But these feelings continue to presist
I wanna be with you i can't resist
I know this isn't my time
I can't control it, i'm about to lose my mind
I must find some way to maintain
And hope in the future you'll feel the same
For now i'll push these feelings aside
So our friendship & my feelings for u don't collide
I'd hate for anything to bring what we have to an end
If nothing more, then i'd love to be your friend

that's my first post on here, if u guys could tell me what u think that would be great, i just started writing less than a month ago. I appreciate any response i get.

Welcome to Passions! This is sweet. It's very nice that you have expressed these feelings for this person, yet are willing to not let things interfere with a good friendship. It's confusing, isn't it? Anyway, good first post, hope to see more!

short and sweet, a good first post, it is a hard situation you are addressing in the poem, anyway I will look forward to seeing more of you poetry

First of all, WELCOME TO PASSIONS!!!

I really liked this poem, espeically since I felt I could relate to it so well. It's tough when you want more than just a friendship without risking losing everything, and I do know how that feels. Here's a quote for you: "I'd rather be your lover than your friend, but I'd rather be your friend than your nobody". Hope to see more work from you!!

wow this was really good... i think everyone knows how it feels to be just a friend and wanting to be more...hope it works out for u.

Have u ever Loved somebody so much it makes u cry? Have u ever needed something so bad u cant sleep at night? Have u ever tried to find the words but
