Upon my 18th birthday, My life crumbled below me Children ran around, yelling at me My boyfriend dropped me like nothing He said he didn’t love me anymore Everyone I cared for has passed It’s been 8 months since my 18th My entire life went downhill And now I’m worried about Mom The surgery is for the 23rd They said it could be cancer I don’t wanna lose her too That would crush me There are so many things That I have on my mind I’ve cried so much lately Nothing seems worth it anymore Even my writing . . . Has become nothing to me The single thing in my life That makes everything better SUCKS! I can’t even do that right anymore Upon my 18th birthday, I become nothing, no one To everyone I care about. *sigh* I can't write worth crap anymore... tamma i dont know you really at all.....ive read some of your stuff and im sorry what is going on in your life *hugs* if you ever need to talk im here email me or something. I hope everything turns out with your mom...and everything else....your poem was good. story of my life: I am so self destructive, I turn solutions into problems. Everything i touch i ruin. Tamma you depict something really strong in your poetry and you tell what is defenitly bothering you, this poems of your is full of emotions that have been troubling you and you seem to glue it all to your 18th birthday, I may not relate directly with what you are going through but I can tell you this: In life you will see and experience many different things and through these emotions we become who we are depending on how each experiance affects us. Life will not be happy go lucky for ever and bad things will happen to everyone but you have to think that at some point things will get better, try not to worry about your mom so much, technology in all those operations have advanced alot and even though you will be worried try to be positive because she is been operated so that means she's going to be cured after the operation hopefully I wish you the best now and always, and if you ever need anything email me or anyone else, here we ARE a family of friends, and we all know life is hard. Thanks for posting, good job.  I see the darkness coming all is bleak... |

Aww, Tamma... *hugs* I'm so sorry that all this has happened. But look at it this way: You've fought through so many different things. You've stayed strong for this long, you can stay strong longer. Good luck with everything... *hug* You have everyone here at PIP to turn to, whenever. I hope everthing turns out okay... As for your writing, your poems in no way suck. You're a talented writer, and pout so much of yourself into your poems. That's what makes good poetry. Keep your head up, and stay strong. Things will work out for the best... There's lots of emotions in this one Tamma. This is the kind of reply where you can't go without plugging in some sort of advice. I wish your mom the best of luck.....just stay strong and weed out the stupid problems that really only add a hasstle to think about. Some problems aren't worth the time.  I was born myself, raised myself, and will continue to be myself. The world will just have to adjust. |
