Once In a Blue Moon. Once In a blue moon You meet a girl Who captures your heart and steals it Takes your breath and leaves you speechless Left star struck and dumbfounded Lying awake in your own dream You are immortal Unaware of your fragile existence Not prone to fear or terror Happiness is existing and your existence is purposeful. Well this is a repost (at least I think it is, of my very first poem, I've made a few changes but not too many. Now the reason for this repost is to celebrate writing my 275th Poem and to announce my new forums at http://chronicles.proboards4.com/index.cgi feel free to post your poetry, spam to your hearts content or just chat. Soon I will be adding a link from my new website "Chronicles of Delusion" to the forum but until now that link is all I have. Andrew Visit my forums @ http://chronicles.proboards4.com/index.cgi |

hey, this is a pretty little piece, i especially liked the line of: "Lying awake in your own dream" -bergundy- maybe i'll catch fire, something nice to warm me. something pure to burn away the darkness, that hides inside my mind. -alkaline trio- |

Ah yes, the girls that do that to you mean the world and more. Thanks for sharing this Andrew. You've completely reminded me of someone. ~M Imagination=nostalgia for the past, the absent; it is the liquid solution in which art develops the snapshots of reality. |

You've painted a wonderful picture of whatever that stuff is...and what's really cool about this piece is how that feeling's been set up for failure...or maybe i'm just a pessimist. In any case, I loved this. ~Carly "Feelings are not supposed to be logical. Dangerous is the man who has rationalized his emotions." |

Andrew~ The title definitely caught my attention~ Love the heartfelt stir of emotion in this~ I did one along the same lines ... isn't it wonderful how someone inspires our hearts~ /pip/Forum70/HTML/003482.html *Hugs* ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ |
