I once wore a shield of silver and gold wrapped around my finger, I grew up and it grew old, but the memories still linger, Silver meant my new friends, and precious few were the gold But you were nothing but pretend, you my friend were cold, You said you never really cared for me, and I cried myself to sleep I still remember how you stared at me, as I began to softly weep Now tarnished silver has overpowered our once golden devotion Our friendship’s been devoured by your fake and coy emotions Now you’re stepping back into the light, your new jewelry polished But now I’ve finally made things right, and that ring has been demolished There is another ending coming....I just need to think of it. Interesting... there's potential in this one. Good luck with the ending! [This message has been edited by Master (08-07-2002 02:23 AM).] |
