It's been a while since i've been here so i figured i'd post this one i used to my now g/f if she wanted to go out with me.

"I Wished"

I see you standing there
more beautiful then before
i don't quite understand
How it is that you are
with my now

My only explanation is
that once upone a time
I wished upon a lonely star
high above the sky
and deep within my heart

I wished
And I prayed
Long into the lonely night
Feeling no reason to rise
With the morning light

But now all my
Wishes and prayers
have finally come to call
For with you to hold my hand
I would have it all

So now
With all my heart
I must ask you
Will you be
My girlfriend?

awww, what a lucky girl she must be! that poem was soooo sweet! i cant imagine what would have been wrong with her if she said no! lol. but anyways, yeah that was really good. im glad theres someone out there for you and i hope youre very happy. luv alwayz:

There's a good rhyme to this one.  Deep sentiments as well.  Kind of the whole, admiration from afar, fascination with a mystery sort of thing.  I hope you guys are having a good relationship now.
