Vacation this year,
It isn't the same,
I might stay away forever,
And I've only you to blame.

There's nothing left,
For me in that place,
You've ruined everything,
I can't stand the sight of your face.

Walking away was hard,
Starting over will be too,
But I won't be a sucker,
I won't give in to you.

This is the last time,
You'll hear from me,
You think I'll be coming back,
But I know I won't be.

I hope you enjoyed my attempt at rhyming

Walking away at times is the best thing to do.
I like the "in your face" attitude ....
it always makes me feel better, at least for that moment.

hey,
i did enjoy your attempt at rhyming =). i really liked this, i've felt this same exact way a lot! (as i'm sure many people have) you captured it well, and you even managed to rhyme! *smiles* yay! just keep going on and then one day you'll realize that you don't care about him anymore, that is how it has worked for me, hopefully it's the same with you. good write, and thank you for sharing it.

attempt? attempt at rhyming? that wasn't an attempt that was a poem that rhymes and may i say, it rhymes very well!

life may just take a while but i guess heaven's worth the wait

Great poem. Sweet, and short. Add a bit exictment to it next time.
