It's very important to appreciate and fully understand the impact of loved ones around you. Obviously, you know this importance. Even though I generally hate "love poems" I actually like this one because it's honest and feels sincere. It also demonstrates the human need/desire to love and be loved in the most inspiring form, which I always find interesting (human behavior). Thanks for posting.

Dark said it in her first sentence. We should never take for granted what we have, and it doesn't hurt to show our appreciation once in a while.

I love it. I think wayyyyyy too many people take for granted what they have. To tell you the truth, that's one thing that makes me jealous -- my ex-best friend, who admits she "gets around", ends up finding really sweet guys and then breaks their hearts. Eats me alive, since all I can find are the guys that just want sex lol. Seriously though, really nice write. Gives me a warm, tingly feeling (and it ISN'T heartworms LOL)
