The sun rises and falls each day,
And still things are never the same
It seems like the day passes by so slow,
But when that day is over
You can't help but to wonder what the next day will be like
A new day, a new way of life
Never doing the same thing,
In the same way.
If you know it or not,
You are full of choices.
Each day a new choice
One mistake can be life or death
Make that one choice very wisely
You are the only one who can make the choices.

Life is a novel just waiting to be read
A story just waiting to be told by a story teller
Just waiting to unfolded
Each day there is a new chapter added to that book
But It will never be told,
Or read.
Only in your mind is where it is kept
And someday when you have kids and grand kids,
You can be that story teller or writer,
And you can share your life with them.
Its all memories in your head just waiting to be told

Choices are vital to everyone's life. We make them every day. We are the ones to make our own choices- that is very true.
Thanks for sharing.

Jenn

Why is it that we are at our most ingenius only when trying to destroy the things that keep us alive and thriving?

"Life is a novel... Just waiting to unfold"

Very true. I liked it. It was one of those inspiring life poems, but it actually sounded sincere and realistic. Not an easy thing to do (in case you haven't noticed). Thanks for posting.

"in this life, there's nothing but possibilities"
-Lucas "Empire Records"

your poem reminded me of that quote, and of the song "Glory Days" by Bruce Springsteen...

one day, we'll all just be old people searching for a friendly ear.

it's our struggle for identity that leaves us all unknown
