Take me out to try again,
take me out tonight,
buy me some hope and confidence,
I don’t care if there’s something to be lacked,
because it’s root root root for this time around,
And if it’s not right, that’s a shame,
For it’s one, two, three strikes,
We’re through in this old tired game.

Why is it that we are at our most ingenius only when trying to destroy the things that keep us alive and thriving?

i read it twice. once straight through, then again to the tune...very nice.

three strikes? you're a trusting one.....
