Lurking

Ramblings

Stuck in a moment
Stuck in this dream
Lost in my heart
Not willing to shout
Here I stand by
And watch as I drown
Gargling love
As the veins all turn blue

Hung up on issues
Hung out to dry
Died once by hanging
By heart strings too strong
Love is a killer
When handled by fools
Breathing in love
As the veins all turn blue

Stabbed by the knives
Stabbed by the words
I feel your anger
I feel your hurt
I’ll let you stab me
Just let me love you
I’m bleeding out love
As the veins all turn blue

"Pretend inferiority and encourage his arrogance."

And look who posts! I was wondering whether or not I should post one of my poems seeing as how I haven't in almost a year, and Lo....I see a new one by you, the Zu.
Nice to see this here. I thoroughly enjoyed this piece. VERY well done and the thoughts, the love being a killer when handled by fools....very very true, and very perceptive of you to use such imagery and such an analogy.
Enjoyed, loved, and inspired.

Well done!

She thought that she had lost him
she didn't know what went wrong
she just couldn't understand it
she had loved him for so long.

By chance she signed on that afternoon
looking for someone else
when he asked to talk to her
she remembered what she had felt.

She still loves him very deeply
she'll not stab him like he asks
She'll always let him love her...
and she will always love him back.

That's my reply Andrew. I loved it. I missed you.

Wow- this was breathtakingly emotional. And I do believe Rhonda's reply was the best I've ever seen from her. This is some wonderful writing here, good to see you post Andrew.
