We pile into the car I'm in the middle and you're on my right You reach for your seatbelt but stop when you see that I don't. Ryan slams his foot on the gas and we speed off around the corner as you cling to the door and my arm as I cling to you Ryan proclaims he's "just jokin" and slows down and when I look over, you're still holding my arm. We cross the intersection and approach my house Victoria and I get out, and you hug me goodbye before I walk into the house and I can't help but think of the time we spent hanging out the two of us in that leather chair at Ally's and truckin our way home. |
