The Power of Love

The power of love is all there is
Deny it, and you'll fail the quiz
It will consume your life
And give you nothing but strife

Fall for it's trap and you'll see
That suffering is all you'll receive
No longer will you get what you need
All because of it's evil deeds

Forsake it and you will die
Obey it and kiss your happiness goodbye
Either way you lose
So which path will you chose?

This is actually a poem I wrote around Christmas time, but I'm starting to believe that all it says is true. If you can, I would appreciate it if you'll try to convince me that otherwise.
I look forward to the replies. Just remember, though the writer gets the credit for the poem, A poem is what the reader makes of it.

There definately is a lot of truth in this. I liked this a lot, a very enjoyable read!!

I can't convince you otherwise..a person can convince you of things until they are blue in the face but I do believe at times when I'm not running away from it..*sigh* lucky me "wherever you will go" just came on..blech..I should go before I bore you to death..lol I'm never good at this comment thing lets just blame it on the hangover;p

I'm starting to believe that true love is dead, because so many people are getting thier hearts broken. But like I've always believed, love is the most common, and abused emotion, but true love will only come once. Truthfully I don't know what to believe anymore.
