She feels so good
now that she ran away from her past
but she knew she would
some how have to make it last.

Chorus:
well she can't chose her life,
but she can have anything she wants.
and all of her life
she's always been number one.
but in her happiness
there's something they dont see
and they dotn know why...
she still cries

Swears to her self
gonna get out of this town someday
but on the shelf
sits her only escape
unprotected...
unexpected...
no one knows yet.
gonna keep it a secret.

Cries to herself
doens't understand.
this can't happen

now she finally chose her life
it may not be what she wants.
for the rest of her life...
her little girl is number one.
she finally found her happiness
it took her a while to fly...
and she knows there's one thing for sure...
she doesn't cry.

This is such an awesome poem!! I love the lyrics..hits home for me...great job! Your very talented to be able to write such amazing songs

Thanks, i wrote this for a good friend of mine, who we all thought would go so far, cheerleader, star b-ball player all that...haha but she got pregnant earlier this year....and she's staying athome rather than going to college.

This is another good one. I'm sorry for your friend not making it as far as she hoped, but good things will come to her still. They always do. Loved the chorus on this and the first verse was a great opener. Good write. Wish I could hear all these with the music tho.
