I thought I heard your voice yesterday,
The voice I haven’t heard in weeks
It was calling out my nickname,
The name you gave me.
But it was only the wind,
Blowing in through the door,
Whistling through the wind,
And hitting my wind chimes.

I thought I felt you touch me yesterday,
In the same place you always touched,
With that sweet touch,
So gentle and loving,
It always got me to smile.
But it was just my mind,
Thinking you where there.

I thought I saw you yesterday,
Out in the cold dark rain,
Just standing there
Looking into my window
Getting wet and soggy.
But it wasn’t you,
Only a tree, that couldn’t move,
Couldn’t talk, couldn’t breathe

Yesterday has come and gone,
Where have you been?
Always thinking you are still here,
Still with me by my side.
To have and to hold.
But you are no longer mine to have and to hold,
You now belong to some other.
Now it's my turn to have and to hold someone else,
But you,
I will show you,
I will fight this till the very end

It's a very good poem. LOL wish i could write something like that. It seems to me you still feel like you're hanging from a thread with your ex boyfriend. I liked it. sounds like something that came from the soul. ::encore:: LoL very nice.

This was sad...love can be a very haunting thing as you've expressed. I like your strength and how you say you'll fight it to the end!! Good ending!! Nicely done overall
