I look in your eyes
To see I’m looking at
A stranger who no longer
Sees me as a friend.

I look in you soul
To find I’m looking at
A stranger
Who’s soul
Has drifted away from
Me.

I look at your shadow
To see I’m looking at
A stranger who’s shadow
Isn’t at my side.

I look in your heart
To see I’m looking at
A stranger who’s heart
Doesn’t love me.

I look at your shoulders
To see I’m looking at
A stranger who’s shoulders
Wont need me for
Crying on.

I look in your mind
To see I’m looking at
A stranger who’ll never
Again think about me.

I look at you
To see I’m looking at
A stranger who
I don’t know anymore.
