There he was on the side of the rode
He was talking in some retarded code
Every time I ever walked by I always beat him down

Kiddingly I pushed him around while I saw that stupid frown
I did not know one day he would save my life
Did I think he would take that knife

Know I sit here feeling guilt
Now waiting for his coffin to be built
One day while in a fight
While kicking whith all my might

One kid took out a knife and swung it at me
Not knowing that the retard took that hit for me
Everyone said that he would not make it

Why I wonder did he take it
And know I sit all alone
Not even to thank him on the phone
That retard knew what was going on
Even though he let my life go on
Did he forgive me..probably so.but I will never know

I like the poem....I like the story it tells...but is it a true story, or symbolism?
