i like to look right into your eyes
the message of love comes through the skies

you have got to be free like a dove
god sent you to me from above
i want to let you know my love is true
when i am with you it's like daja vu

all the evil you got to shove
you need to show god gave you love
now i don't have you it's time to cry
inside my soul my love will die

thats such a sad poem for a first post kev!

i think you wrote it well for its purpose. Love is a weird thing, and having it or not having it hurts.

but nonetheless:
